Nice and cozy place. Some kind of subway entrance simulation. Meat is of very good quality. Service is also good, only a bit slow for such a small place and plenty of waiters.

Hidden in the celler, a really great grill house. The meats were very fine and grilled to the point. Service was impeccable, atmosphere relaxed and pleasant and priced very reasonably. Absolutely recommended.
It's an good place to have a filet steak. My rib eye steak was both bad and good, part of it was cooked as ordered while the other half was chewy. Apart from the most important thing (food), the location is welcoming, however it felt a bit cold. The service was friendly but not that well organised. It took a while to get their attention for our reservation when we entered. I'll give it another chance in the spring once the team has settled. Definitely a nice thing to have a steak restaurant in the middle of Freiburg using regional meat. One that luckily doesn't serve ganther beer.
