Ah, fabulous place! The quintessential place to see typical southern German hospitality. Food is good and cheap, beer is solid, just as you would expect from this lovely city in Baden-Württemberg. Since this is a great place, expect it to be packed.

Feierling is a great pub with great beer. The ambiance in the restaurant is fantastic. The ambiance in the beer garden is fantastic. I had the schnitzel which was also fantastic. It came with a salad to start which was also very good. The prices are very good. The service is great. It's quite popular, for good reason.
Feierling is a Freiburg classic. If you wanna taste the local food and one of the best beers you'll ever had this is the place. Is usually crowded for obvious reason, when possible make reservations.

Feierling was an absolutely amazing gem of a location to find in Freiburg. I've been all over Germany in my travels and they still have the best bier I've been most fortunate to have. Incredibly stylish, beautiful decor and brewing equipment adorn the entire building. The staff was very friendly and happy to speak English. Last, but most certainly not least, the food was delectable. If you're looking for a delicious meal, inspirationally good bier, and a cozy place to do both, you've found the one. Can't wait to go back.
