Worth a visit if you're in the area and would like to see how the wealthy lived. There's currently a one way system through the house because of covid, and it's worth getting there early to avoid the queue (though it wasn't too bad)

17 century town house furnished in contemporary manner. Nice to look around. Worth a look if you are in Monschau
The Red House (which is pink) opens in the morning, you can enter at 9.00 or 10.00 or 11.00 clock, or in the afternoon. Earlier means less busy. It's 5 euro. Has toilet. See how a rich merchant textile-family lived 200 years ago. Very impressive!
Fantastic museum, like you would find run by the National Trust. Many rooms filled with art and antiques.
