The buildings and gardens that were built during in the 16-18 century. This palace used to be the residence of the archbishop, now it is the office of the Federal government. The palace and garden are still well maintained so that they are still beautiful, tidy and a garden that is worth a visit when we visit the old town of Trier.

We enjoyed our walk through the gardens and lawns last year of the Electoral Palace here in Trier, Germany. Amazing how this was the residence of the Archbishops and Electors of Trier from the 16th century until the late 18th century. They sure didn't live like the regular ordinary people peasants of that time era! All paid for off the backs of their toil.
So lovely gardens and statues. Magnificient place. So calming and nice for day rest. One of the most beautiful historic towns in Germany - Trier. Worth visiting during all seasons. Even in winter. My recommendations!
