Usually great service and food but last visit the waitress was sullen and the ribs I ordered were raw in the middle and the wife's burger was burnt. Like I said, usually good so hope that bad visit was a one off.
Nice surprise to find this place as a stopover on our long drive from Switzerland to NL - so much nicer than any raststatte - worth the detour. Nice atmosphere (the heart of Simmern), good service (free melons on a hot day) and surprisingly good value food.
