A beautiful little pond in Eilenriede City Park. Here you can see several different kinds of birds, but mostly normal Mallards. When we visited we actually succeeded to see both a Common buzzard (Mäusebussard) resting and a hybrid between Mallard (Stockente) and Yellow-billed duck (Geelsnaveleend). Apparently the close by Erlebnis-Zoo Hannover had a free-flying Yellow-billed duck male that possibly could be the father to this hybrid. Interesting sight! Sometimes you can also see Egyptian geese (Nilgans) in the park, they seem to come from Erlebnis-Zoo Hannover as well!
