The zwiebel baguette here is one our favourites.The pastries have never disappointed.Vegetables are expensive though and we usually only pick up the tomatoes from here since they keep a good variety.Onions and garlic are better elsewhere.The salad bar is quite good and I found the pastas delicious although again it’s pricey.Good if one is feeling lazy to cook and wants to pack something fresh to eat.Great selection of high quality cheese.Overall I find this place really clean and well setup unlike other supermarkets which are gigantic and make you walk through several aisles even if you want to grab a few things.The staff here has always been extremely polite and pleasant. The self check out counters are an added bonus as I don’t see this facility being offered by any other supermarket.The cafe is our regular hangout and we have enjoyed plenty of lovely evenings after work enjoying their sweet and savoury items which are always fresh and of top quality.

Ich finde den Laden super...riesen Auswahl...aber nix für den schmalen Geldbeutel...
Super Laden. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Laden sieht sehr ordentlich und sauber aus. Besonders die Wein Abteilung hat eine sehr große und qualitativ hochwertige Auswahl.
Dornseifer - Frischware gut aber faire Preise? Ich persönlich mag die Frischwaren gern und bewerte das große Sortiment an Waren positiv. Ich Stelle aber ganz deutlich die Preis-Leistung in Frage und kritisiere deutlich die Marken- und Preispolitik der Dornseifer-Gruppe! Zumal es in Gummersbach-Zentrum derzeit keinen weiteren Lebensmittelmarkt gibt, empfinde ich es als sehr negativ in den meist überfüllten Laden gehen zu müssen. Ich möchte am liebsten 2 Sterne abziehen, empfinde es aber als unfair. Schließlich sollte die Bewertung sich nicht nur an mein persönliches Empfinden richten.
Nicht gerade billig, dafür sind die Produkte aber in aller Regel gut. Die Selbstbedienungskassen nerven, wenn man was Anderes als eine einfache Tüte reinstellt oder wenn man lose Artikel kauft. Das Personal hat mich mehrfach gerettet.
