Very relaxing trip to or from Oslo. The boat has several restaurants and shops as well as a ice cream stand, casino, rooftop bar and pool. Although I haven’t personally seen the pool as it was closed when I was here. The rooms are small but fine. The cleaners could not keep up with the amount of rooms that had to be cleaned which resulted in some queues in front of the hallways.

Very pleasant and professional ferry cruise, but one thing I noticed is that I was not able to find ANY 1-2 person tables/seats in the locations with the best views. For a single traveller or couple, there is no possibility to enjoy some of the nice fjord and sea views in peace from the front row, as there will ALWAYS be some 4-6 person German pensioner group showing up and regarding your table as theirs due to the empty seats. Thats kind of disappointing.

We had e very nice trip on this ship from Kiel to Oslo. The checkin an loading of the car was uncomplicated and easy. On Board of the colorline Fantasy are restaurants, shops, bars, a casino and even a small waterpark. The room we booked had a window a full bath and four bunkbeds. I can recomend this ferry.

You have to arrive at least two hours in advance, which we managed to exaggerate even a bit more. But basically it resulted in just more time to waste and waiting in one of the queueing lots until you drive up the ferry.

The Colorline booking web site is a nightmare. 1 million options and submenus. Before I even reach the end, the web session has timed out. I understand the company wants to make money, but forcing you to consider a million options in great details witness about a lot of incompetence with respect to user friendly design. Are the bonus points worth anything? When I log in on my page I am told I have 2100 points. When I want to pay for booking I am told I have zero points??? The quality of the food in grand buffet seems to have degraded slowly over 20 years, concerning main dishes. Cold plates with fish, shrimps and roast beef still great. Cheese and desserts also very decent. Colorline wants you to eat in the other restaurants as well so bon appetit. The best part of the cruise is to be on deck in a sunny summer day. Seeing the landscape passing by in slow motion. Admiring the beautiful coast from Kiel to Oslo. Makes you rested and fall asleep.
