A good place to eat while visiting Munich. The food was delicious, the food more than enough and the place was cozy. The waitress was very kind and explained to us different aspects of the dish. For tourist, pay attention to the fact that this place only accept cash as payment.

As Afghans we usually prefer home made food but since we were in Munich and desiring afghan food we decided to give it a try without having big expectations. When we arrived the restaurant was very crowded, so we had to wait, since we had no reservation. The place is very small but cozy and it worth a visit! The food was just amazing. It absolutely EXCEEDED our expectations. Very delicious, fast in serving, very kind. We can't wait to go back ! Tashakor
It's such an amazing place! The manager managed to offer us a table even though we couldn't manage to get a reservation from before ( no doubt the place is so famous that it's always fully reserved). The food was excellent and I never ate so tasty rice before being an indian. The service was very friendly! Highly recommend and I will come here over and over again for sure! Thank you Chopan! \u003c3
One of my favourite causal restaurants in Munich. For those who have never tried Afghan food, Chopan is a superb introduction to the cuisine - which combines Middle Eastern and Indian influences into a flavour packed feast. Prices are reasonable and the food is fantastic. Only caveat I’d have is to stay away from the cocktails - they are made rather poorly and aren’t cheap either. However, there are plenty of bars around the area and let’s face it, you’re here for the food, not the drinks.
The food is good and tasty. The personnel is kind. They take long to bring the food, but I think their kitchen is too small. The prices are a bit high but the served amount is ok. It is good located and you can make online reservation
