I have worked for Camp Adventure for the past 2 summers and have had the most incredible experiences. My first year I was a teamer, primarily with the junior camp, and spent my days playing with cute kids and making friends from around the world. In my second year, I helped run school trips, became a leadership director, and a senior camp director. Camp Adventure encourages their staff members to grow and be challenged with new experiences. The best part of this program is that you can arrive with just a one way ticket to Germany, not knowing anyone, and you will leave camp with dozens of new friends that you travel the world with. CA holds a special place in my heart and I will forever treasure my time here. See you next summer!

The first time I worked for Camp Adventure I only pretended it to be a one time thing, but I enjoyed it that much that I ended up coming back 2 more years, so now it’s been already 3 summers working there. I have been a teamer and a leadership program director, and next year I will be in the camp directors team. As it is an international camp, it is the perfect place to practice different languages and meet people from all around the world. All the staff members become a big family in less than a week. It is very interesting to see how people from very different cultures become like best friends in no time, it is definitely an eye opener. You really don’t need to know anybody to come. If you like being with children, Camp Adventure is without doubt your place. You spend most of your time in nature doing many activities with the kids. For example you can run different sports or adventure activities like football, volleyball, canoeing, archery, survival or some creative activities, as well as a lot more of other and less known activities and camp games that are really fun. Also, as any other job, sometimes it gets harder and you can feel overwhelmed, but you must remember that you are not alone and that your team will help you out. Another reason why I would recommend working for Camp Adventure, is that you don’t need to work there for the whole summer like most of other camps, where you have to stay from June to September. In this aspect they are much more flexible and you can adapt it to your possibilities and situation. This camp is definitely a great choice to enjoy your summer!
I have worked every summer at Camp Adventure for the last 4 years and I love it more each year! It is such a fantastic opportunity to meet people from over the world and the sense of community amongst the staff is something extremely special. Staff lead activities including water sports, survival, archery and creative- but if you have a different talent, they celebrate that and encourage you to run a project in that too! Yes, camp life can be crazy, tiring and frustrating sometimes, but it’s also rewarding, funny, magical and like no other job you will ever have! If you enjoy working with children, or want more experience in this field, Camp Adventure is definitely an amazing, unique place to do that.

Camp Adventure is like no other job you have ever, or will ever, experience. The environment is entirely welcoming, and the bonds that you form over the summer are forever. The days are long and it can be exhausting at times, but I guarantee it is fun and there is never a dull moment. The diversity of the people is what makes the camp so great! I have worked with the camp for 2 summers now and I just keep on coming back. This camp is a life altering experience that I hope everyone gets to experience!
