I live in Berlin and am used to “German” service, but this guy didn’t even try to be anything other than dismissive. The ice cream tasted pretty good (I especially liked the cone), but the ice cream is served by spoonfuls, not scoops so it wasn't worth it overall. I also personally witnessed the differentiation between German and non-German speakers in terms of both service and ice cream size. I’m not sure why someone would have a shop in a touristy area if they treat foreigners differently. \u200d️ (Edit: as seen in the comment below, responsibility is left to the patron)

Local, family, friendly, independent cafe/snack/ice cream stop. Room outside. On a gated road, so no traffic danger for youngsters. Close to some big city memorial sites. Two toilets.

I’m glad I didn’t walk pass by! Back then, on first glance at the location I almost didn’t see the café but now I’m going here for years. The quality of the food is better than most places around the area and the service is extremely friendly! I can only recommend going here if you are in the area! Also, they started making specialties every now and then, last time they had homemade lemon cake for the first time which was amazing!
