I liked the apartment itself. The room I got was relatively small but it was clean and had everything I needed. Also the location is good. Close to the central station and the river. But if you are a woman traveling alone, I would suggest you to avoid this neighbourhood. It is right next to the red light district and didn't really feel safe. Had to keep the curtains closed to avoid the "red light" from the outside at night.

Hello guys, I’ve been living in this apartment for about two weeks. First thing I noticed is how the hosts are very friendly and cheerful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The WiFi is free and the WiFi reception is perfect. The environment is very quite. In the city center close to central station and I am quite happy to be here. That’s why I decided to extend my stay until end of this month.

Brera is safe, clean and at a great location, especially to attend a fair at the Messe. There a number of bars, restaurants and supermarkets around to meet every need. There is a very nice wine bar right next door. The street does have a lot of stragglers and the apartments are next to the red light district but we have never felt unsafe. There is an induction stovetop, utensils, cutlery, a microwave, dishwasher and a refrigerator(not the tiny minibar kind). There is also a free laundry room; you just need to get your own detergent. I love that there is a Nespresso compatible coffee machine in the room. I got the pods and had great coffee every morning! The check in and check out is automated and hassle free. Thank you Andreas for calling us in India to set up the entry process and for meeting our request for the extra towels and extra blanket with lightening speed! We recommended Brera to some friends and they booked an apartment at the same time as us. The only problems we faced were a noisy bathroom exhaust and that the heating in the room was not working. We had to wear woollens while inside and the floor was very cold. I guess this was a one off thing as we did not face any problems last year. I would request Brera to have a stronger maintenance team so that guests do not face such problems. We were there 7 nights and the problem could not be fixed. We would also suggest that you place a long handle broom/mop to clean the apartment(we had to buy one) and if possible, an in-room steam iron. This was our second stay at Brera and we will definitely come back!
No complaints over the apartment and overall conditions of Brera. I would just recommend that every apartment should have its own clothes iron.
