The operator of the boats is incredibly rude. We speak German, but are american. He first refused to allow us to rent a boat because we wouldn't know how to read the signs. When we showed him our German driver's licenses while continuing to speak in German, he simply waved his hand at us and told us that he may be able to talk to us in 30 mins. We were the only ones on his dock and did not deserve to be treated so poorly! There was another boat rental down the shore and the operator was lovely. Don't waste your time going to this awful place.
