I feel completely robbed by Bitwala. I have tried to sell my ETH for over a week now and it didnt work without any explanation! How can this be legal? I have contacted Bitwala via Email with no response in a week, I have contacted Bitwala via phone with no response and even wrote them on reddit with no response! I already lost a lot of money because of their problems and that is nothing any costumor should experience ever! Dont trust Bitwala, they are scammers and will be sued!

My experience with Bitwala has been completely frustrating. I have been a customer of this company for over two years. On two occasions I couldn't access my crypto funds because of a bug on their end. In the first case I had to solve the problem finally myself. Two weeks ago I changed EUR to BTC, but I can't access the BTC although they appear in my account. They admitted that something went wrong but haven't been able to solve the problem until today. My advice: stay clear of this company. Their technical issues are threatening your savings and don't hope for their horrible, slow and incompetent customer service. By the way: the only way to contact this company is by email. Nothing else. Update of my post, reacting to Bitwala's answer on April 23: Your answer is complete fake. I have tried countless times in the last three weeks to get the problem sorted out. To no avail. Meanwhile I have informed BaFin and will sue you. In realityh you don't care a bit about your customers money. Otherwise you would have sold the problem. My ticket number is 393793)

An awesome neobank providing a unique way of diving into the world of cryptocurrency, but also giving you a card for day to day cash use.

Bitcoin will never be an official currency as long as "companies" like bitwala keep behaving like a drug dealers. Same situation: account was opened, bitcoins were transferred to the wallet, account was "temporarily blocked", done.

So, I was on the lookout for a crypto friendly bank and Bitwala came up as one of them after some digging and some conversations with colleagues at work. I contacted Bitwala's support in order to get some more information and everything looked in order. Went ahead and registered an account, went through the identification process which was quite a hurdle since they are not flexible at all when providing documentation (during video-call, you can't upload files or show them on screen, you have to print everything), and after using it for a couple of weeks, I get sent an e-mail stating that my account is blocked temporarily. Without any explanation for this or any actual time frame to this temporary block. I've been unable to login, since the 1st of July, and as such, unable to do any sort of movements with my money, after going through their KYC/AML process. Additionally, I've placed myself fully available to provide any information to speed up this process but nothing has been requested. I've sent e-mails to Support, requesting an update but all they tell me is that their partner bank, SolarisBank, is the one that actually has information. I've called Bitwala, and was told the same thing. I've sent e-mails to SolarisBank, and they tell me to place my questions to Bitwala. Have also called them and again, was redirected to Bitwala. At this point, I am beginning to doubt the authenticity of this bank and wanted to put my situation out there to warn others and hopefully get some visibility to the situation.
