Vassili le Moigne
Way overpriced, definitely not 4*, noisy! Good food though. At 420 euros per night (2 adults, one child), you'd expect something quite nice: the bio pool is nice but they forgot to turn on the sauna till 30 minutes before the last serving for dinner. Basic rooms, no curtain in the bathroom facing the next hotel (so ok, you could argue it is for the bio "thing") but then at 6:30 work started in the house next door and since there is no air con (the bio thing again), you have to sleep with the windows wide opened and nicely be weaken up at 6:30 (or earlier as the hotel is next to the main road of the village) . So we are all up at 6:30 and we think: breakfast time. Not so fast, breakfast starts only at 8am (how un-German, but maybe the bio thing again). Swimming pool. Yes, but all doors are locked till 8am so you have to go on the street and walk around the hotel to get to it. Hmmm. So, lets get on the internet ? No internet (you know it, it must be the bio thing) except in the lobby (sometimes and very slow) and strangely, if lucky, in the staircase. At that point, ready to complain, i go to the manager. Thanks god i speak German because, you guessed it, bio thing of course, the manager does not speak english. Again, 420 euros for this, is, in my eyes, a complete ripoff! The only good thing is the food which is very good (specially like the zucchini cake, quite delicious indeed). Stay away, I either completely missed the point of this place or it should somehow be explained to new bio people like us.
