Spacious rooms and great service. Excellent breakfast with great variety. Free of charge charging of electric vehicles on site with 3 chargers of 4 kWh output. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful to get a spot reserved.

The hotel is a very pleasant surrounding just across the river Elbe, a 20 minute walk from the heart of Dresden. Hotel offers a nice athmosphere. Eating options were limited unfortunately, partly due to COVID limitations. People in helping in the bar were particularly pleasant!

Don't be fooled by the establishments facade that appears dated. The hotel is classic with spacious rooms appointed with modern amenities. Staff are cordial and friendly There are good restaurants in and around the hotel. Most importantly, the establishment is located in the vicinity of Dresden's baroque architecture and depending on your room, with a view of the river.

We had a great stay here. The breakfast is great except the mini crioussants finish too fast and the fried eggs to order are a little slimy and uncooked on top. Other than that the waitresses are very helpful and nice and there is lot of space for social distancing.

I got a spacious room and very nice view from the room but the room is super super super old. The bed is not really a heavenly bed, kind of hard. Breakfast was great, selection was acceptable, and they don't serve sparkling wine at the breakfast until other Westin they offer sparkling wine for a SPG Platinum guests. Sadly the hotel doesn't have a Club Lounge.

I am hesitating to give a 5-star. Let the 4-star hotel receives a 4-star. The building is pretty old. So is the furnishings. The corridor carpet is damp and smelly. There was not anything in the old minibar. The room interior requires massive renovation. No drinking water was available in the room free if charge. The front office was rather efficient. They kindly extended our stay for one more hour.
