In summer it's 9k, not a big lake at all. Unfortunately, you can't reach the water because it is closed, I did not like that a lake is considered a private property

Big area and clean water. They have bar with snacks, drinks and ice cream. You can also rent an umbrella and beach chair. However, there are big queues on hot days. I came in the morning, but still waited in the line about 35 min. Wish they would have online tickets, that could reduce waiting times. So -1 star, because they are not organized.
Really nice place to have a swim in the bright water or chill on the soft sand. Lovely staff at the entrance and at the food place, had some tasty curry wurst. The entrance fee of 6 per person is a good price. I will go there more often.
5E for the beach was worth it when you see the work they’ve put in to make it beautiful, excellent facilities, safe for kids and plenty to do. Vegan burger was more delicious than your average with subtle flavours, chutneys, Mayo cheese and gherkin! The water was gorgeous and plenty of shelter for a storm! Accessible by public transport too which was a plus. Perfect place to spend a hot day. They have changing rooms, showers, toilets etc
Plötzensee is a strandbad (beach-bath) in Berlins Wedding district. The beach is located on a camping ground and the entrance fee is 6,00 (3,00 for students). Although did they did a great job on all the facilities (there is great food, coffee, table tennis tables, a bar etc.) it’s still a really loud and crowded place with a lot of kids constantly running around. An average park in Berlin has more peace and quite. If you are a parent or a kid, it’s probably a great option! If not, maybe the park next door which also gives you free access to the lake is a good option?
