We have been here once last year and the food impressed us. So we came again this time and it still is amazing! My personally favorite is nasi goreng with shrimp. The satay and wonton are great as well. Price is reasonable. Highly recommend!

Nice place, great tasting dishes, of which some are unique. Good portion and good service.
Ooohhh i love their food!! Specially this dessert..its vanilla icecream with hot mango roll.. they accept cc and cash payment...toilet is clean...interior is just right..not very crowded when i went there.it was around 7pm
I have one complaint, the place is TOO good for the price. The satay ayam is a snack that is ridiculous good. Budget and 5 star dining in one, they should get a reward. Fabulous. And the sweet People who work there. Professional
Dishes are well presented but, as is so often the case in Berlin, many of them lack flavour. A general base of garlic, ginger and soy sauce provides solid ground for every dish, but is rarely built upon in any meaningful way. The tapas-like option is exciting and allows you to sample a number of dishes, but you'll quickly identify one or two favourites and simply make do with the rest. Lime fish is a favourite, although even here the announcement of lime promises a tang you'll find sorely lacking. As with most Asian restaurants in Berlin -- I'm including Indian here -- I suspect that the depressing lack of flavour is a product of cultural prejudice rather than culinary incompetence. It is assumed that Berliners prefer bland food, which is less and less true today, if indeed it ever was. The restaurant announces Indonesian food but in reality is a far cry from the sophisticated palette Indonesian cuisine has to offer, and it certainly offers few Indonesian staples. It's a pity, really. The service is unfailingly friendly and attentive, and this place could do wonders if only the chefs took heart. As it stands, Rice Queen is yet another middling entry in the dreary Pan-Asian limbo that makes this city an eternal culinary shrug.
We went here after the nearby well known taco place was full. It was a pleasant surprise. The food is super tasty, the menu is extensive enough that I kinda wish it came with bookmarks, and the drinks are good. The lemon squash with a dash of rum is particularly enjoyable. We had a Chicken Pad Thai and Satay Duck, along with a Starter Platte. All very good. The salad that comes with the platter looks a bit sketchy, but is actually really nice! Would recommend.
While the service and timing of the food was perfect, this place does not have authentic Indonesian cuisine at all. This is a big shame because everything else ticks all the boxes. The food is definitely catered for people who are not Asian. Things that should have tasted spicy tasted sweet. Despite having ordered three different types of curries, they all tasted pretty much the same. They use frozen vegetables in their curries and chicken tasted not fresh but frozen. The soto ayam was also not authentic at all, it tasted more like hot water with a lot of chicken stock. The gado gado came in a weird ( only tasted slightly like peanut sauce) creamy sauce. I truly believe that if they put more thought into the food coming out of the kitchen, giving it more flavor and making it better represent the vast array of beautiful, rich, complicated flavors one finds in Indonesia, then this place would be a total hit! I was super disappointed as there are not many places in Berlin that offers rice tables, however if you come from Indonesia or the South East Asia region, please do not expect authentic food, like I mistakenly did.
It's indeed a good restaurant But the service is very bad , impolite and has no respect for especially Africans and black Americans. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
