An amazing tour with Philipp who is so acknowledge and tells an amazing enticing story about Berlin and David Bowie. He makes the 3.5 hrs so special and i would recommend him to anyone going to Berlin to do this tour even if you are not a Bowie fan.

You book a trip on a Bowie walking tour, you expect a guide to show you Bowie's Berlin apartment and haunts. What you don't expect is a guide who puts the whole Berlin era into context of both Bowie's mind, music as well as Berlin of the 1970's and how it would have appeared to Bowie and the rest of the world. I was with Philipp, who was just about the most passionate guide one could wish for. His knowledge, delivery and enthusiasm for his subject was overwhelming. A tour not just of Bowie, but of Berlin then and now. Unfortunately the famous Hansa Studios was unavailable due to rehearsals and filming. I was told this well in advance and was something that Berlin Music Tours couldn't help. That was a shame, yet kept the mystery of the legendary place alive. One word reivew? Essential.
I did the David Bowie tour with Berlin Music Tours in 2014 after visiting the David Bowie exhibition at the Martin-Gropius-Bau and it was great craic. The tour guide knew his stuff and was good fun to communicate with and discuss music with. He didn't restrict himself to David Bowie but was also able to answer questions and point out other places of interest related to other artists and bands. You'll leave not only satisfied but with enough knowledge to set off on your own to discover even more of the great music city that is Berlin. Great value for money! Would recommend it to everyone.
Für jeden Depeche Mode Fan, der Berlin besucht ist eine Tour mit Thilo zu empfehlen. Definitiv ein Muss! Sehr interessant und hintergründig!
Großartig! Dreistündige Führung durch die Hansa-Studios, vollgepackt mit Informationen - kenntnisreich und kurzweilig vorgetragen. Sehr empfehlenswert.
Berlins Musikszene damals und heute; internationale sowie nationale Künstler und Popstars - unterhaltsam erlebbar gemacht durch zahlreiche Hintergrundinformationen und witzige Anekdoten, die man so ( auch als Berliner ) noch nicht gehört hat. Einzigartige Touren mit begeistertem Tour Guide in fast schon familiärer Atmosphäre. Dabei unbedingt empfehlenswert: Die Besichtigung der legendären Hansa Studios.

Ich habe die Musiktour durch Berlin vor 1 Monat gemacht. Mit einem Minibus ging es quer durch die Stadt auf den Spuren von Künstlern, Tonstudios und alten und neuen Clubs. Sehr kurzweilig wurde das ganze mit kleinen Videoclips untermalt und von Thilo (Guide) kommentiert. Auch für Berliner sehr interessant, da man viele Plätze kennt, aber noch einmal mit anderen Augen sieht.
