A lovely & authentic photo / frame / postcard store directly next to Oranienburger Tor. The owner Iris is fantastic, such a personality -- warm ,friendly, and open to new ideas. I came across some lovely vintage prints on recycled paper from a local Berlin company called KURIOSIS and she showed me her different types of frames and products. Highly recommend!

Walking buy, you might actually miss the place except for the card stands in the side walk, as the entrance is small. The moment you step in, you it is a nice place for cards and stationary lovers. one could find a small gift for someone who likes photos or writing letters! The camera lady is dry professional and efficient. I had problems with my Photo on my USB when I went yesterday, I was allowed to send the photo per email, called them, to know when to pick it. When it was not the size I thought I wanted, I got a reprint. Prices are moderate.

I went to Fotoladen Mitte to take visa pictures for Japan. I came without appointment (don't need one for passport pictures) and only had to wait for about 10-15 minutes. The price was cheap, 12 Eur for 6 pictures. The sole negative aspect was that I had to insist quite strongly that the pictures had to be adjusted to 3,0 cm x 4,0 cm, as my university required exactly these measures. I had to insist several times and show her my uni application form. This is why I gave a 4* rating instead of a 5*.
