Thorough inspection. Sometimes too thorough. Often find things that regular mechanics hadn't noticed. Always willing to rerun a brake test and do his best to get your car passing. If you are working on your car yourself, he will point out what the problems are and what needs to be fixed. Sometimes handwriting isn't easy to read.
