Absolutely huge. Seriously. I bought a plywood for a shelf. The cutting service was free but the waiting time was long. I waited about half an hour each time to make one single cut. Self service checkouts make it quick and easy to finish billing.

There are better hardware stores who don't waste your time waiting in different stations until you finally leave the store with the product in your basket. Try training gas bottles and you will see what I mean. In Hornbach i.e. it was more streamlined. Otherwise the choices are great and if you buy of the shelf they are ok.
Online is cheaper, Makitas models are old, they don't have the new power tools stuff and service is okayish. The unpleasant experience with this shop is that l bought a car battery that was defect and when I tried to return it they said that is not possible because is a battery and they cannot tell what I have done with it, true! I understand, but the battery was defect, so check them if you really need to buy one from here. The wood is good and you can find a wide variety of it, from furniture wood to construction wood.
Huge hardware and DIY shop. Nothing to complain about the selection as such but on the other hand nothing special compared to average Baumarkt around Munich. Looks more attractive outside than inside. I guess due to the volume of the building there might be lots birds' occasionally around, based 'markings' here and there.
Probably the biggest hardware store in the whole Bavaria. Great choice. Easy to navigate.
