An absolutely amazing experience. Great fun atmosphere and a way to get really creative and combine your love of cycling with a love of creating something beautiful and unique! Des was always around to help and answer questions, and always made sure we were supplied with great music and coffee!

I've had the idea of building a bamboo bike for years since my travels in Africa. Unfortunately there were no options here or around Munich to start a project like that. As I am or was a total beginner in building a bike or generally working with wooden materials I felt lucky to step over the BBC in Munich. From the very first moment I felt very welcomed by Des, the workshop to build the bike frame- individually personalized on my measurements- was absolutely structured and made sure every participant could make good progress (pic 2- day 1). A very big thanks to Des, who is the local BBC manager, as he also supported me in finishing my bike in the second workshop. And as you can see... I am almost done!! (pic 1- work day 5) For sure I can tell that's not the last bamboo bike I have built with these guys! Definitely can recommend making that unique experience of making your own bamboo bike from tip to toe ;)
Awesome fun! I want to say thanks for a great time building the bike. Dez started us off with a intro on what we were going to do and guided us in a professional and fun way. He was always on hand ready to help and advise on the process. Highly recommend this for a unique and satisfying experience!
