Open 24/7, free entry to the park (an extra fee applies to some buildings), free restrooms, parking nearby. An exceptionally worthwhile excursion destination with many sights, lake views, wide panoramic views and very old trees. This palace park is an absolute highlight in Potsdam and highly recommended, it is not overly visited and offers many cozy places. A long history that can be experienced together with relaxing nature and a long lake shore, what an interesting place!

My favourite park in Potsdam. I spent countless hours here, living in a student dormitory. Long walks at every season. Admiring the castles, jogging, sitting and reading if the weather allowed. It is amazing how many views you can find while strolling the park. Amazing views to Glienicker Brücke, or lost between the trees. Absolutely marvellous.
