The Cathedral of Augsburg (German: Dom Mariä Heimsuchung) is a Roman Catholic church founded in the 11th century in Romanesque style, but with 14th-century Gothic additions. This cathedral is very beautiful and if you are in Augsburg it is a must see. The atmosphere is quiet and even if you are not catholic it is a good place to find some peace.

Very old church. One of the must go at Augsburg. Very nicely maintained. Heights of peace when u go inside and sit . Beautiful glass paintings. Can be easily accessed by tram transport .beautiful paints can also be seen inside the church
Amazing!
It's a lovely place. It's not one of the biggest or grandest doms I have visited. But it also tells you it's own story. In the court yard there you will find several burial places of some cardinals.
Free to enter! Very beautiful with lots of artwork and sculptures.
