Just saw Augsburg play against Freiburg. The stadium was easy to find your way around in and the crowd was very energetic. I really enjoyed the experience and can't wait to go there again. I can imagine it is also a nice place to go to a concert as well. If you have an opportunity to visit for any attraction I'd recommend going.

Awesome stadium of the FC Augsburg. Good reachable via highway and public transport. All accessible via wheelchair and good view from this seats. Sadly no Apple Pay/ Google Pay even when their cards are using NFC. Also payment via FCA App is provided. Staff and fans are friendly and polite.

A big soccer arena, well organized and well staffed. Beer, non-alcoholic drinks are available as well as a small selection of fast food. Buy a card, load it up with a credit balance before you buy purchase your food. No cash is accepted by server. The only thing that really is intolerable is that there is smoking allowed in the stadium. As a non-smoker, I was surrounded by smokers. Depending on the direction of the wind, you could have 180 minutes of second-hand smoke in your face. I think there should be an area where smoking is prohibited. If these areas are sold out, leave it to the spectator to decide whether he wants to sit with the smokers.

Quite a nice stadium with a 30.000 capacity for spectators. Disadvantage: you can‘t still pay with all wireless payment cards - you‘ll need a Augsburg Arena Card to pay - have seen that much better in other stadiums like Allianz Arena Munich or Pro Zero Arena in Sinsheim.
