I was the part of a fall 2020 class and it exceeded my expectation 200%. The school is giving you a good start with various subjects of filming, but it is up to you to get the best experience and even make your own projects. I would recommend to use the time at the course as much as you can. Already having an idea of a short movie/music video or something similar is definitely enhances the experience. Any case it was a great fun and a valuable experience. I am very grateful to the tutors for giving us their time and support!

This is a No BS film school , if you wanna get into filmmaking then you go sign up! The tutors are so welcoming and super friendly. Overall I’d say I learned enough to not be afraid to work on film sets.
Best thing that happened to me in 2020. I would highly recommend to apply for AOTR to anyone who wants to learn the filmmaker profession. Perfect combination of practice and theory in a familiar environment. Teachers are passionate and always helping you.
I took part of the intake for the last quarter of 2020 and joining the film course was probably one of the best experiences I have ever had. Mortiz and Juergen are super supportive even with your own ideas/projects. I completetly recommed it for someone who is looking to try filmaking for the first time or someone who has already experience.
