Good rooms,good breakfast, good combined kitchen ( but they don't provide cleaning powder). Swipper staff is very rude they start quarrel always and call other staff members for creating pressure on guests. They always ask to leave is you can't follow their words. In their background some staff was living and they always approaching for quarrelling without any tough reason. Their cleaning staff don't understand emotions of foreign visitors. I called one person who was my age 'brother ' you ll not get any fault from my side but he got rude and said don't call me brother I am not your brother do you understand and it was very painful experience. The city is great. The hostle is extremely noisy, people shouting and singing at 4 in the morning. Slamming doors at 6 am on a Sunday... but receptionist are nice and friendly. Good location but old room and facilities. Clean room, breakfast and dinner ok. Better to have a room overlooking the street with a private balcony, as the rooms on the other side open to a shared balcony ( no privacy), so you gotta keep your curtains closed all the time

I stayed here for 2 nights and I wouldn't hesitate saying that this was the worst A&O hostel I ever stayed. Lots of bed bugs because of which I had to rush to the doctor immediately after reaching Frankfurt. I agree with the fact that this hostel is located in the Heart of the city Munich and it has better transportation facility due to location advantage. But I'm sure nobody would want to go back with red rashes all over the body, to their city after an amazing holiday. The Hostel staff were also rude to us and they didn't respond to us on time. The pillow, bedsheets and bedspread were obviously included in the Hostel tariff price but they were very untidy with patchy stains.
Decent amount of space for a six- person room. Balcony was a nice touch, but the windows and doors would not function properly. Wall would bend if you were to tug on the door. Poor insulation meant that the heat was always on high heat. Table was also useful. Wished the room and bathroom was cleaner, but at least we had soap and body wash. The breakfast was standard, nothing special. Eating area is good. Would reccomend if you can get a very good price.
This hostel was a horror. No control, so, random people, clearly not paying customers, could stay in the room with little assistance. It was dirty and run down, hence the bed bugs and skeletons of bed bugs that littered the bed frame( 2 out of the 4 rooms I had). Black moldy showers (3 of 4). Showerheads falling off. Multiple bed lights and outlets didn't work. Even when going to reception to look in past rooms for a lost item, discovered the rooms from the night before with the bed bugs weren't even blocked off. They didn't even know what rooms those were. Very poorly managed and outdated. I've stayed in hostels all over the world. I'm laid back and not picky. I wouldn't stay here again if you paid me.
After reading the comments I didn't go in with high expectations. The check in clerk was juggling 10 things at once but to his credit he provided everything I asked for. Due to COVID-19 I requested a room with low occupancy and was given a bed in a room of 6 beds with only one other guest. The second night I had the place all to myself. The facilities. Although basic were clean and well equipped. Just before check out, someone came to disinfect the room. All in all, great value for money in my opinion.
