Very nice place in Sachsenhausen, of you are looking for local specialities this is a good option. You will find german food and some local dishes from Frankfurt. Taste is good, staff is friendly and the location is easy to find.

The food, drinks and service were all disappointing. The schnitzel was one of the worst I’d ever had - unsalted, greasy in a wrong way. My wife only managed a few bites of her 26 euro Kalb schnitzel, and she is normally a huge schnitzel enthusiast. The potatoes were also way too greasy and cold. The beer was also flat. Unfriendly service because we didn’t speak much German. We should have gone to the one next door as it seemed much more popular. Only good thing was the location, but not worth the price for the practically inedible food. Plenty of alternatives in the area.
Absolutely wonderful place with tasty national cuisine and wide range of different wines. Highly recommended to have "Frankfuster schnitzel vom kalb" or "Grobe wildschweinbratwurst" together with "AppfelWine". Staff is friendly and it is also possible to taste different wines before making choice.
Very traditional German food. Very modestly priced for the excellent quality. Also has a large selection of ciders, not only from Germany but globally. I even saw one from Japan in the menue. The place is cosy and service is very friendly. Highly tecommended
Leider ja nur zum Abholen, dafür das Abholen mit sehr viel Ambiente... Und suuuupeer lecker.... Voll zu empfehlen
Wir haben uns gestern die Weihnachtsgans to go (Gänsekeule) gegönnt und es war ausgezeichnet. Super lecker zubereitet mit den typischen Beilagen wie Klöße, Rotkohl und Maroni.
Insgesamt sehr gute Frankfurter Hausmannskost in gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Vor allem das Kalbsschnitzel ist zu empfehlen. Gerade aufgrund der Lage recht stolze Preise (23 für das Kalbsschnitzel). Der Apfelwein pur ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Überragend ist meiner Meinung nach die freundliche Bedienung, die es möglich gemacht hat an einem Samstagabend ohne Reservierung um 18:30 Uhr noch einen Platz für 2 zu arrangieren. Top!
