The cellar tour is really worth it. Takes around an hour but it feels like 15 minutes. Funny and informative, and you get a chance to explore a unique and historic wine cellar. With history going back 500 years. The wine shop itself is pointless. Impolite and unmotivated staff, not at all knowledgeable about their own products. The wine on the other hand is really good. Not the best in Würzburg, but definitely around the top 10 area. Once again, the 8 Tour is definitely worth it, I highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed this place and the wine tasting. The hosts are very nice and the explanation regarding the wine making and history about it was also very good. In this region, white wine is the best, so if you have the chance to get some, just do it. You will recognize the good ones by their distinctive bottles. Green and black bottles mean higher quality. Prices are around 10-30 EUR.
Worth a visit.
I've only been to a cellar here and it was very impressive. Looks like Dracula used to live here, very mystique. Great variety of wines, very tasty and what's important it never ends :) A wonderful place to spend Friday or Saturday evening drinking with friends and exploring history of these wonderful wines
You can get tastings here even though its not very obvious. Be guided by them and try out some of the local product.
