Personal ignore customers. I was first in a line and had to wait 30 minutes before I could buy some meds. My wife called several times without answer. Ones they answered and promised to call back but didn’t do it. Now we are looking for a new Praxis.

We have been going to Smart Vet for 6 years and we have always been pleased with the care for our dog. They are extremely helpful and go out of their way to help you. This past year our dog has been through two different illnesses and on both accounts when they were unable to assist us further they told us who to contact and followed our dog through his illnesses. You can get a same day appointment and you can also be seen on Saturday too. We have found the doctors and the assistants kind and friendly and caring. We highly recommend Smart Vet.

In 2016, my cat had a lump start to grow on her left shoulder. I took her to SmartVet, had an X-ray and was assured it was nothing, a benign growth. About a month later she was limping and couldn't put any weight on that front leg. Then I found out about Tierklinik Hofheim. There we discovered that she actually had a rapid bone cancer. We scheduled surgery to have her leg amputated, and I was preparing to have a tripod kitty. Anything to save her. Unfortunately, the cancer spread so quickly that there was not enough healthy tissue left to operate. I had to put her on morphine and then after about a week of that, had to have her put to sleep. I was devastated. In the time I wasted thinking that she had a normal \old cat\ growth, I could have saved her life. Smart Vet doesn't know what they are doing. They don't know how to read X-rays or blood tests. They don't have any vets with years of experience. I wish they didn't exist so I couldn't have gone there to get terrible information. Absolutely avoid this vet for anything serious.

Americans don't go here for a pet passports. A perfectly valid rabies vaccine that was good enough to travel here is not good enough for them and they will repeat it. They also considered it her first vaccine so they made it a 1 year instead of a 3 year vaccine. Then because my dog was a previous vaccine reactor I asked for diphenhydramine (anti-histamine), they didn't know what it was and opted for steroids but whatever, that's minor. Finally they handed me the passport.... with the wrong owner on it (no idea who that guy is, I'm quite sure he didn't want his address given to a stranger). They just wanted to scratch off the name and put my name under it as if the other guy was a previous owner of my dog. I had to insist to have a new one. The Doctor was nice, but all these things can make me say: do not go there!

Great service and good with the pets. Was able to get passport and they made the process easy.
