A very nice location and lovely outdoor seating area to watch life go by with family and friends.. The service here is exceptional! I only went for a small side dish and a dessert with coffee because on the day I had a burger elsewhere...my fault because HiG has some really great looking concoctions..ah well next time! The fries were super and I could mix up my own dip...orange BBQ sauce and classic BBQ sauce try it out....or mayo and classic BBQ sauce....and if you like to sit inside they have a great interior. Take away is not a problem I can thoroughly recommend this place.

The restaurant is a very nice location, in central Wiesbaden, and the staff are impeccable. The pricing is also very good. My friend and I both ordered a lunch menu including main dish, side, a drink and coffee. However, we were both slightly disappointed by the quality of the ingredients in our hamburgers - we kind of expected more. The bread in particular, was not very good. But I might give them a second chance regardless.
If you live on the military post, I HIGHLY recommend you NOT order from Hans Im Gluck. I was so excited for their food, and I drove to the gate when I saw it was on its way to wait to pick it up. Over 30 minutes passes. The driver calls me, saying he couldn't figure out how to my street. I tried explaining in my broken German, since he said he didn't speak any English, and was promptly hung up on mid conversation. I didn't speak German very well and he couldn't speak any English, but the fact that he hung up on me was terribly rude. I ended up having the nice Pond Patrol ladies (who speak German) try to call him back, and he preceded to hang up over five times. The Pond Patrol ladies then called the restaurant and got them to send another driver out - who took an additional 20 minutes to find the gate - but stopped 1/8 a mile short of it despite directions given by the Pond Patrol. I had to walk down to him to get my FREEZING COLD food. I am never ordering from Hans Im Gluck again, which is a shame as the food is normally good.
A lot hype behind this burger and fries . Sitting outside must be the thing here. Wasn't impressed pressed! But not bad...
Great food every time we have gone. I have had one experience with slow service but it is not the norm. The burgers are delicious. The beverages are too. We like to order the lunch special that comes with a drink and a hot beverage at the end.
