Beautiful trails to hike on and the scenery is gorgeous! Highly recommend for a quick day trip hike.
Beautiful and popular destination for an easy walk along a stream through a small gorge. Considered one of the loveliest places in the Pfälzerwald. Consideration for pandemic times: the path is narrow and there are many people on a weekend if the weather is good. You may find yourself walking in a line of others who had the same idea or passing by a hundred people at close range walking in the opposite direction, some of whom belong to at-risk groups. So please wear a mask!
Great place to go during autumn. Not sure how nice it would look other times of the year but regardless, great place to get some exercise in.
Wonderful location for an easy and gorgeous hike. However, if it's snowy/icy, the natural inclines and steps can be very slippery. Plan accordingly.
