Today what I have witnessed in this work tribunal was probably the top mockery of any juridical institution. I have unreservedly lost faith in the justice system and in the future will be the last place to turn for help! It was a travesty! Whomever created the law was not aiming to defend the working class. Even though we won the case I saw no punishment for the defendant who disrespected the court by not even showing up!

Arbeitsgericht Trier or the Labour Court of Trier is one of the five Rhineland-Palatinate labour courts. Situated at Dietrichstraße 13, the court’s jurisdiction encompasses the districts of Bernkastel-Wittlich, Bitburg-Prüm, Vulkaneifel and Trier-Saarburg. But there’s more to this building that meets the eye. Founded on March 16, 1473, this building was once the University of Trier that held key faculties such as law, philosophy, and theology. Between 1995 and 1998, the building authorities of the city transferred this structure to the judicial department. Dietrichstraße also hosts other cultural monuments such as Red House, Frankenturm and a monastery dedicated to St. Mary Magdalene.
