We are waiting our turn to get in for an hour!!! It's not that many people at the beach, but you have to wait anyway. And its 35 today. It's a violation.

I was here with my 2 year old daughter yesterday and had a fantastic time! Part of the lake is still closed due to a bombsearch. We chose going here over Weißensee and it was the right choice. As compared to Weißensee, Wandlitzsee had lot fewer people, had cleaner water, and is lot easier to reach (20 mins via Karow). The beach is a 5 mins walk from the Wandlitzsee station. There are trees around which provided shade on land and in the water. Really important for me as I'm not a very enthusiastic sunbather. Very important to put on booties (Badeschuhe) for your child (probably applies to all lakes) because a boy picked up two glass shards from the water and I picked up a large porcelain shard without even exceeding a radius of 3m. The smell of people smoking weed all around pretty annoying. It's not fun when you're with children and it just goes on and on. Could be an isolated incident.
Very nice surrounding and chilled atmosphere. Clean environment and children's playground. Also available to rent are surf boards and boats. Simple snacks like french fries and Wurst. No alcohol. Cheap entry and other prices. Highly recommended for a get away from Berlin during summer time. Good to reach with train and parking for cars available
Perfect place to swim in the lake with children. Clean water , shallow beginning for kids and after a marked border deeper water. There's a playground near by, a restaurant and showers / toilets etc. Just perfect on a warm day.
Very busy place when the weather is nice. Parking was 3 Euro and to get in is another 3 Euro. The water is nice and clear. U get some fast food snacks and there is a Italian ice and pizza place next door.
Nicest lake around Berlin. Nice shops around the station. The water is sooo refreshing. Relaxed people there. Always relxed atmosphere. You can have french fries, bratwurst and ice cream. Whatever you expect during a day outside.
It is very nice, the entry is free and if you're staying in Berlin it's not very far.The water isn't exactly clear but otherwise it is a very pretty lake.
