I recently visited singen on a hiking trip with my sister, would not recommend anyone to eat here at dream india . The service was poor right from the start. During our starter a waiter attempted to bring over my main course, after telling him this was a main and we were still eating our starters he took it away, I suspect that the same main came back to me later reheated. After we finished the starters the waitress came over to take away the plates and expected my sister to keep here dirty cutlery from the starter for her main, obviously this was not satisfactory and we requested clean cutlery. As for the food, the starters were ok but our mains were disgusting. I had a chicken makhni which tasted as if the chicken and been frozen, cooked and reheated. The bread base itself was supposed to be a thin crisp base but was a wet soggy mess and inedible. My sister had a dal makhni and this contained the same curry as chicken and was swimming in low grade oil (though this dish use only butter ideally) Needless to say neither one of us finished our meals and wanted to leave as quickly as possible. On leaving us the bill the waitress stressed that no tip was included in the bill, very much expecting to get one. However after the poor service and food we did not leave one as it was in no way deserved. look at the picture of dal makhni here and then google tge name dal makhni . its hell of a diffrence

What a gem of an Indian! Lovely owner/chef and really delicious authentic Indian food cooked on demand. The flavours are intense and the service is fantastic. Very relaxed enjoyable dining experience.

Awful Hygeine and Inhuman Practices I went there last day with my parents . The owner of places is really a convincing speaker but luckily i saw kitchen on my way to restroom downstairs. I saw the worker poring some dish in a bowl and licking it from the drops that fell on side of bowl. While he noticed me observing this , i was taken into shock . He came to be requesting not to tell the owner about this else he wil fire him for not shuting the door of kitchen . He was hugry and just did it as he didnt ate anything from noon , On asking further he said he said he is getting paid only 3 Euro/Hour as he dont have a work permit. i consider it an inhuman act. Rather then having a good family time , we came back amzed and depressed ...
