Amazing hut which is very accessible from Munich. Easy hike from spitzingsee and you can stay the night at beautiful altitude. It's a bit touristic bit that's obvious since it's so accessible. Make sure to check the sunset and the sunrise while you up there. There are huts with nicer views but they are usually a lot harder to reach.

Comme here for the nature, nothing else... Nice food, nice place, but very cold (no radiator) and shower 3 min 3....
The views are great, but the food wasn't that great. The food wasn't that good, the Kaiserschmarrn and the Käsespätzle were not very good.
Fairly quick service, a bit on the expensive side but it was ok.
Great place to rest after tour to Rotwand. Normal "High hill's" prices with self service.
My first hiking expedition. The food at this place was good. A little bit expensive, but that is to be expected ;). To reach the top, hiking boots and sticks are recommended, as there is no definite path. If you are hiking on a Sunday make sure you get down by 4 pm as the last bus service is at 5 and you don't want to miss that.
Surprisingly delicious food at great prices. An island of relief for the tired hiker. The heating systems works wonderfully and the facilities are well maintained.
