The kids playground here is great! The dinosaur museum exhibit is nice as well. Very realistic looking. If you have 2-3 year old who get scared easily I don’t recommend it. My 3 year old was able to go but he got scared in some parts. Now he is 4 and he is still a bit shy in some of the exhibits. But he loves the playground! The displays are very informative even though they are in German. I could figure out what they were trying to represent and I can’t read german. I recommend the season pass as we frequent here a lot when it is cold outside. Food is decent and they have beer and wine! I highly recommend this place.

I was fascinated by the accuracy of the evidence presented in this museum and how it was weaved into an interactive journey through time. I felt as though I was walking through time. This is a must see for those interested in the evolution of our phenomenal planet and it's inhabitants.

We took a 1.5 hour drive from Heidelberg to visit this exhibition. We didn't regret it. Was worth every penny. Bought the family ticket. We arrived at 10 am when they opened and were pretty much alone in the morning. Most people arrived after 12 noon. We stayed for 4 hours. The exhibition is recommended for children aged 6. My boys are 3 and 5 and they were quite scared. Unfortunately I made up some scary stories about the dinosaurs being real on our way there and they turned out to look damn realistic - so I guess it's partly my fault. Parking was free and plenty of space. Indoor playground was nice, the kids spent 1.5 hours there. Bring a lot of 1 Euro coins for the electric cars. Food was okayish, not bad not great. Kids menu is about 5 Euro. Wiener Schnitzel with fries like 10.50 Euro. For me the most realistic and one of the best dinosaur exhibitions in Germany.

The museum was much larger than expected. It is easily a 2 hour visit, even if you kind of rush. COVID measures include extra hand sanitizer and staggered start times. The place was amazing with a mix of static displays and videos. And the best part was the animatronics. The dinosaurs truly felt alive.
