The cable car is a lovely experience and quite easy, whether you go up and hike down or do the round trip. There's a small Cafe at the top and it's a nice stroll to the memorial. However, the cable car is TEMPORARILY CLOSED for construction until March 2021.

Two person gondola ride is a definite must do! The gondola brings you above the Riesling Grape Vineyards and the scenery above is just breathtaking! We purchased a little bottle of wine & two sweet glasses at the ticket booth & enjoyed our wine at the top of the mountain. Simply unforgettable ️ Cheers
Great opportunity to see over Rüdersheim and the Rhine, can get a single, return or round trip. You can take the cable car one way and walk back or vice versa. Went in November and despite the cold weather the ride was still lovely, there were blankets provided.
Fantastic views. Calm and serene wine yards. The round trip Rüdesheim-Assmannshausen-Rüdesheim is highly recommended.
