It is the second time i am coming to Horizonte regensburg to learn German. And it is amazing! The method is very useful and the team is caring a lot about our comfort and our progress. The accommodation are great and the ambiance is friendly but also ideal for studying! Regensburg and the region are amazing in term of outdoor activities, culinary, culture and night life! Relation quality/price very high. I will surely come back ! I RECOMMEND!

There are many reasons why I return to Horizonte year after year, as many reviewers have also stated: The class size is small, usually 6-12 students from many nations, which contributes to a unique life and learning experience. The staff are friendly, helpful, and strive to make everyone feel comfortable. The teachers are experienced, motivated, and create a fun and yet challenging class experience. Their instruction is an excellent mix of German grammar instruction, vocabulary learning, and conversational practice. The after class led activities are varied and include trips to museums, historical sites, German companies and movies, and nearby towns. Saturday day trips include taking the train to cities such as Munich, Nürnberg, and Passau or bus and boat rides to out of city sites. Regensburg is a scenic, walkable city with medieval towers, a magnificent cathedral and an old stone bridge over the Danube river with clothing shops, grocery stores, restaurants, and beer gardens filling in the gaps. The Horizonte school is situated in the beautiful old city center where good, inexpensive restaurants and take-out options for German, Italian, Thai, and other ethnic offerings are many and a short walk away. Add to that the convenient off and on-site housing options, from single rooms with fridge to shared apartments or local home stays and what else do you need?

I spent weeks researching the best German language school in Germany, and decided on Horizonte. After spending 3 weeks at the school, I know that they deserve all the praise that they receive online. The teachers are fantastic, and the teaching methods ensure that even the most nervous/shy students get a chance to participate and build confidence. I will be returning, that's for sure.

Best way to learn German! I started going here after living in Germany for 2 years. After being in the class only 2 weeks I was able to have conversations with German friends. After 7 weeks I could communicate almost whatever I needed. They teach German right! My only regret is not attending when we first moved here!

The best method of teaching for me is here. Also like to have living and class locations in one place. Only wish there were full length mirrors in the rooms,and freezers in the fridges. Otherwise a fabulous experience! I am returning next year.
