Really pretty, accessible, with an outdoor Market on one side and a walking street on the other. If you're expecting something like the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, please realize it is much smaller, older (I believe) and while it's very cool to see on its own, it is arguably less impressive. But if you're in Potsdam, go see it!!

This is a rather small gate. It's nice to look at quickly. But not worth going out of your way to see.
Potsdam is calm and beautiful place around Berlin, and if you go there you should visit Brandenburg Tor. A huge open area. Down the street there are many local cafes and bakeries. All the way towards the end you will find yourself on another tourist places.
A serene place to enjoy some quality time with friends and family. You can find all sorts of restaurants, Bakeries, Cafe and Ice cream corners all around at single step. The most fascinating part about the visit is that no matter how many times you go there, you will always be left awestruck by the charismatic beauty and festive vibes of the place.
