Really nice canooing in this area. Great value for money. 12 euro each for a whole day. We had a great day here. Some points for improvement: we missed some information about route (green buoy at the exit of the lake) and about canoe stairs. Don't forget to put on water shoes, when you go through Plon, you have to get out tile because of shallow areas.

I got a boat rental as a bonus as part of a program. Wen we arrived, the personal was very busy. We got a document to fill, and whe it was our turn, they just indicated where the swim vest, the paddles and the container to place the things were. I tried to ask for an advice on the tours that we could do, the woman answered very fast and I did not feel welcomed to ask anything else. I am a foreigner here, and I am usually confronted to this situation in places where there is not much foreign tourism. I have rented boats in other places, and I normally get very nice tips of where can one stop and which tours to make. One has to really know how things work once they give you the boat, otherwise you are lost. The boat, paddles and vest were in perfect Condition, and the place is great for canoeing. The round trip going trough Plön was an adve ture, because the water lever of the channels is very low and one has to get out of the boat and pull the boat all the way until the next lake.
Nice personell, uncomplicated rentals. The routes for the actual canoeing are somewhat poorly indicated and occasionally very, very shallow. As in \five centimetres deep\ shallow. This requires getting out of the boat and towing it through very difficult to pass paths. From my point of view this dampens the overall experience.
Awsome selection of boats and a very good price. So much fun to see the town and landscape from the water.
