My kids were very fortunate to have studied at Phorms (Kindergarten, Primary, and Secondary) during the past 7 years. It is with great sadness for all of us to leave the incredible school community (as we moved to The Netherlands). Phorms has been the perfect school for them, and they have been very happy going to school every day, and have acquired excellent linguistic skills and behavior-social habits. During this world health crisis we were amazed every day by the learning habits they have been acquiring at school, being so motivated to learn and to work on their homework on a daily basis. We admire the teachers and the management for working together with the students to support them, and to prepare and upload all the school material needed.

Was there for 8 years, since the very beginning. I'd say the school peaked around 2012, its been a few years since I was there but from what I remember it was hilarious, classmates were usually close to one another, teachers also for the most part were decent (salute to mr nevin miss banks and fr volkmann who I think are still around). Basic rule of thumb for a kid there is dont become the black sheep of the class and you'll have a great time, if your tongue is silver enough you can talk your way out/into a lot of things... fun times though, weirdly miss the cafeteria and talking my way out of not doing homework :) - C Denney

Probably one of the worst educational systems in Munich. The pre-school, the primary school and the high school are all part of a blown up marketing machine. The facilities/capabilities are poor (no proper sports facilities, no onsite psychologists, no proper training of teachers) there is a high turnover of English speaking teachers. It is really expensive for little guarantee of a great education. The administrations of all schools are really poor and they are not interested in the individual development of children, they are oversubscribed so they can do as they please (keep that in mind) and they scrutinize children to death and outsource developments to the parents. You will get lovely weekly emails with pictures though to make you feel that the approx. 1000 euros a month have funded something. Time in the children would be more worthwhile though. It is common knowledge that lots of parents have taken their children out of this system and are happier for it. My daughter went through pre-school and primary (happy at a gymnasium somewhere else in Munich - state Ed is of an extremely high-Calibre in Munich). The worst was that my son was treated like a misfit in pre-school (after the recognition process). Pre-school is an assessment centre and has little to do with individual development. It was actually cruel how they treated him and some of the teachers lack the compassion to deal with children who do not conform to some “invisible code “. So glad we took him out, the system only survives due to a lack of full-day care in Munich.

The administration office is good and gave us quick response about what we should know about this school.

Very nice, private, bilingual English-German school, Kindergarten and daycare. Teachers are professionally selected. My son enjoyed the three years he spent there at Kindergarten!
