The castle is indeed being renovated, it is still worth visiting this castle, the way is particularly beautiful in Autumn due to the relatively high abundance of broadleaf tress, the castle is surrounded by Bannwald, not actively managed forest left to its own devices since 1992, this means the proportion of conifers is lower than in other areas of the Black Forest. Depending on the way you take you will have to cross multiple bridges over the Würm, a beautiful small river you can follow most of its way to Pforzheim where it joins the Nagold which shortly after joins with the Enz, these are the main 3 rivers in the area. The slopes over the Würm river are rather steep but most of the way is only moderately inclined. All of these in the way just 7.5 km from the Kupferhammer, a rather recommendable restaurant in Pforzheim's Goldene Pforte.

To bad it's closed. There is not much to see inside, but still it was way cooler to get inside and climb the walls

Einen Spaziergang zu dieser Burg gemacht, ich finde es Toll das hier sich jemand die Mühe macht einen Teil wieder aufzubauen bzw. saniert und so was für die Nachwelt erhält. Ein Besuch lohnt sich immer, gerade jetzt in der schönen Schneezeit.
Schöne Waldwege am Bannwald entlang mit witzigen Erklär-Bäumen. Die Ruine selbst ist relativ klein, wird im Moment renoviert. Direkt davor schöne Möglichkeit zum Rasten
Eine nette kleine Burg oder besser gesagt von dem was noch übrig ist mitten im Wald sehr nett anzusehen . Gemütliche Sitz Ecken um eine ruhige Pause von einer Wanderung oder Radtour zu machen .
Ich mag die Ruine Liebeneck sehr. Leider wird sie gerade immer noch restauriert, weshalb man sie zur Zeit nur von außen und in Gerüst sehen kann, aber es gibt auch davor viele Bänke mit Tischen. So das dort das mitgebrachte Essen gegessen werden kann. Ich persönlich gehe gern dort hin, denn auch auf der Strecke dort hin bietet sich ab und zu ein toller Blick auf den umliegenden Wald.
