The view is hard to beat. The food was good. Not great but good. The architecture reminds you of the East Germany in the 70s and 80s.

They have English menu and the food is good, as not too salty has become part of the criteria for good German food for us.The view is great if you get a table by the window. Waitress doesn't seem to speak much English but she's friendly and efficient. Toilet is downstairs so not handicap friendly as you need to pay 0.7 euro first(one euro rebate at restaurant)then push through the gate. Highly recommended for everyone who visits here to try.
The views alone are worth the prices. The food and ambience make it a top notch location and wonderful place to have a meal with a view
Had two dinners here. The three course and four course meals. Our table had the pork with bacon both nights, fish once, and steak once. None of these were good. The pork the first night was particularly dry. The pork with the same description for the 3 and 4 course meals had less pork ( 3vs2 pieces) on the four course more expensive meal day. The view was very nice. The service was okay, but did not raise to good. The view is out over the gorge is different from this location then most of the overlooks. The atmosphere is mostly romantic with candlelight.
The view is amazing and the food was good, but nothing special. Main accent is the location where you can sit, eat and enjoy the panoramic view.
