I haven’t been so furious, stunned and disgusted all in one than I have been this morning. I took clothes into Oxfam to donate, about 2 bags full of items still with the tags still on, assortment of coats, jackets, hats and scarf’s, shirt and pullovers from brands such as levis, nike, polo RL, etc, that I never wore. First they wanted to go through them and asked me wait while they did, I explained 3 times that I spoke to people who worked there last week and they told me to bring whatever, then the manageress was as rude and arrogant and nasty as hell complained in my face said there was too much clothes and that I had to wait even though I was late for an appointment. They complained it was too much, too heavy and that they didn’t want the donation. However they took some Ralph Lauren pullovers, shirts etc and while I walked to my appointment, one of the women threw my donation of clothes out on to the street and shouted at me. Rude, horrible, disgusting, unprofessional women. They should be thrown out on the street!!!!! Not the clothes. They give charity a bad name!! Never in all my life have I witnessed such bad manners and vile people. I wouldn’t donate a bucket of urine to them never mind anything else in the future!!!!

Nice bright shop with a large selection of books and CDs, clothing and ornaments. Have found the odd bargain there, but I find the pricing tends to be on the high side.

In der Regel sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite Menschen, die dort arbeiten. Bis auf eine sehr unsympathische Mitarbeiterin aus der QuerdenkerSchwurbel-Fraktion, die - selbstverständlich ohne Maske - laut ihr verqueres Gedankengut zum Besten gibt: \Natürlich haben wir auf der letzten Demo alle keine Masken getragen. (Trotz Masken Pflicht) ..\ Werde vorläufig den Laden nicht mehr betreten, da ich mit sehr alten Menschen zu tun habe, ist mir zu risksnt. Sehr schade!

Der Laden war früher super. Ich bringe inmer noch Spenden hin, aber jedesmal mit einem unguten Gefühl, weil die Frauen dort bei der Abgabe größtenteils echt unhöflich geworden sind. Heute habe ich eine riesige Tasche mit Sachen abgeben. Alles wurde genommen, ausser ein T-Shirt wollten sie davon nicht annehmen, es sei zu ausgewaschen. Vielleicht interessiert es ja jemanden, dass sie eigentlich eine 80/20 Regel haben. Heisst: wenn 80% gut ist, dann nimmt man den Rest auch an. Hat tatsächlich was mit Respekt zu tun gegenüber denen, die extra da hin fahren und was spenden! Nicht mal für ein einfaches \Dankeschön\ hat es gereicht. Nur Tasche in die Hand gedrückt und ein \das tshirt da nehmen wir nicht.\ Wenn ich nicht wüsste, dass die Projekte, die damit unterstützt werden, sinnvoll sind, würde ich mir die Mühe nicht mehr machen. Auch wenn das alles ehrenamtliche Leute sind: Kundenservice und Freundlichkeit sollte man aufbringen.
