Amazing bridge that connects the castle and the Würzburg town. There is a restaurant on the bridge that is amazing. They have vegetarian, vegan options as well. They have a special kind of soup called Hakaido(pumpkin) soup during the month of October..
When in Würzburg, you must take a time for a wine at the Old Main Bridge. Amazing view, statues from the 18th century, relaxing environment. I love it.
Don’t miss to enjoy the wine on the bridge! It’s a great place. Such a pity, it was too hot on the day we were there, so we could only drink on wine and had to look for the other place. But anyway, it’s a must!
Very quaint and lively part of the old town. Fantastic place to relax, have a drink and look at the amazing fort above. Vines growing on the slopes that is well worth a walk upto the Fort although steep for some. The Covid face masks on the bridge statues were new. Lost my wallet here and it was handed in to the police....thanks to whoever picked it up and handed it in!
