Altenberg ist ein Ortsteil von Odenthal, zwischen Bergisch Gladbach und Leverkusen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, und liegt etwa 20 km nordöstlich von Köln an der Dhünn, einem Nebenfluss der Wupper.

A lovely place with a wonderful, helpful staff. The rooms were quite clean and modern and there were many places to sit and warm up when needed. The hiking trails and nature surrounding the area are also great sites to take in. In addition, the church itself is quite beautiful and adds to the overall surroundings.

Plain and beautiful monastic gothic cathedral in picturesque setting. Onsite parking is limited, but a larger parking lot is about 500 m away at the nearby Marchenpark (fairy tail park).
