The food here is really good. I e tried several Ethiopian places and this is one of the only two I'll recommend, Shashamane ist no1 for Ethiopian food in Nuremberg. The owner and employees who work here are also Ethiopian which is great ,there's nothing worse than going to a restaurant and the food isn't made by people of that culture. Never been disappointed here. One time there was an item missing from my order I jokingly told the owner to replace it with more of something else that I liked ,when he brought my food he did actually give me more and I found that super sweet and kind. This is also the only place where I'll eat Lamb. I also love that the African beer is served in a calabash. If you'd like to discover a taste of Ethiopia go to Shashamane it's authentic all the way to eating the food by hand,the music.... Just go you'll love it .

Very tasty food, good selection of Veggie and non veggie food, nice ambience. Service was good. Eating with your hands instead of using silverware is also a nice experience

Elegant and classic Ethiopian style restaurant. Wide range of food for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. If you confused with which one you want to eat, just go ahead with assorted which contains almost all items. Don't worry they have separate veg and non-veg assorted items as well. We flabbergasted when the waitresses recommended us to eat with hands because one of my friend never eat with hands before. but was able to manage Tasty food yummy dessert but we could found some similarities of Indian food.
