Fressen um die Welt

We decided to go for a second time and got a table right away as we were nicely welcomed. It might be better to go a bit earlier since it starts filling up around seven. The atmosphere is cozy and the red tones of Vu Tangs’ walls make it all a bit more comfortable. The waiter was well prepared and helped us patiently in our decision, suggesting traditional dishes. We did not have to wait for our salmon in pesto sauce and ribs although the sticky rice came a bit later. A must try is the tofu salad with peppermint and lime, and the very tender meat was well cooked in wisely chosen spices that tasted traditionally Asian. The dips and the sauces were definitely something special. As we tasted our delicious food we had the waiter asking us for feedback and our well-being which was really appreciated and felt welcome to order a second dish since the portions were a bit too small, but that gave us the chance to try more things out. The prices are really fair considering the special menu! Vu Tang Is a new way of trying Asian cuisine.

Chic location with very friendly staff and delicious food. My tip, go for the Picnic menu! : )

Ridiculously highly priced tapas. Service was also very poor. We were recommended the „special dish of the day“ which was fried prawns with mango chutney and avocado cream as main dish . A dish with THREE prawns came which, due to its size, should not even be a starter . And for all main dishes, we had to order rice separately, it was not even included. A sticky rice was served which was hard. Prawns smelled like oil of bad quality and the dish alone cost 14 euros. Ended up paying 50 euros per person for very little food and just juice/ water . No wine or beer!! I wouldn’t recommend the place to anyone . Waste of money

Deliciously tasty. A really good asian restaurant in Maxvostadt district. Originality and savors are there. Efficient and friendly service! A great experience!

I was very excited to try this place. Unfortunately it has left me very unimpressed. Food was not only pretty bland, sometimes dry or downright mediocre...the portion sizes were a joke. You pay big money for really small, unshearable tapa plates. Not only the food but the wine was also very very expensive. Value for money is nothing you can expect here. Design and vibe felt off...trying to achieve a luxury look providing mediocre hip food at outrageous prices just does not work. Service was horrible. The waiters knew nothing of the food they were serving or what the best way to order for a group would be. Wine and waters were forgotten, lacking friendliness despite holding a reservation for a group. Stay clear.

Overrated/priced. Food is ok and some even special, but the slow and inattentive service spoiled it for us. (They managed to serve me two drinks in 4 hours, no matter how many times I asked...)

Quite pricey, portions could be a bit bigger, meat and pok choy was tasty but slightly too salty. Staff was very friendly, tentative and knowledgeable.
